The Elev8Gen Framework
KNOW IT. BELIEVE IT. SAY IT. DO IT.
01 | Self-Identity – Know yourself.
Understanding your story, your values, and the unique wiring that makes you who you are. The foundation for everything else.
Students practice: Defining values, mapping strengths, and articulating their "why."
Core Belief: I am worth knowing and bringing to the table.
02 | Self-Efficacy – Believe you can.
The confidence to tackle new challenges and the resilience to figure it out when things don't go as planned.
Students practice: Problem-solving frameworks, growth mindset shifts, and resource mapping.
Core Belief: I have what it takes to find a way forward.
03 | Self-Advocacy – Ask for what you need.
Learning that your needs are valid and having the courage to speak up for yourself in academic and social settings.
Students practice: Scripting requests, identifying allies, and setting healthy boundaries.
Core Belief: My needs matter and I can communicate them effectively.
04 | Communication – Connect through sharing.
Mastering the art of dialogue—listening with intent and speaking with clarity, empathy, and conviction.
Students practice: Active listening, conflict resolution, and public speaking techniques.
Core Belief: My voice is a powerful tool for connection and change.
05 | Agency – Take the lead.
Moving from passive participant to active driver of your own life and community. Taking ownership of what happens next.
Students practice: Goal setting, project leadership, and community advocacy initiatives.
Core Belief: I have the power to influence my future and my world.
EMPOWER. EQUIP. REPEAT.
A tagline with deeper meaning.
EMPOWER – Help young people recognize their voice, strengths, choices, and potential.
EQUIP – Give them the language, tools, strategies, skills, and relationships to do something with that potential.
REPEAT – Teach them to use what they've learned not only for themselves, but to encourage, advocate for, and create opportunities for others.
That's Elev8Gen.
IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMMING
Skills you can practice before you need them.
Elev8Gen workshops aren't motivational assemblies—they're interactive, skills-based experiences students can actually use.
K–5 WORKSHOPS
Friendship Foundations — We built separate K–5 and grades 6–8 versions of this 30-minute workshop. It covers healthy vs. unhealthy friendships, kindness, respect, boundaries, choosing friends, and being a good friend. We built scenarios/role plays, student reflection, timing, and a one-page facilitator structure.
Help! How to Ask for Help the Right Way — K–5 self-advocacy workshop. Students identify trusted adults, learn when they should ask for help, distinguish tattling from reporting, and practice what asking for help actually sounds like through scenarios.
Cookies, Cocoa & Confidence — A 30–45 minute elementary confidence/leadership workshop we built with a “Snowball Compliments” opening activity, affirmation ornament or goal-setting snowflake activity, mini lesson around kindness, teamwork and respect, and the closing message “We were built on purpose!”
Lead With Kindness — K–5 leadership programming centered around the idea that leadership isn't about being the loudest person or being “in charge.” It introduces kindness, inclusion, helping others, responsibility, and everyday leadership.
Emotional Intelligence + Identifying Emotions — K–5 programming around identifying emotions, developing language for what students are feeling, and understanding that being able to name what is happening internally is part of being able to communicate what they need.
GRADES 6–8 WORKSHOPS
Friendship Foundations — We built separate K–5 and grades 6–8 versions of this 30-minute workshop. It covers healthy vs. unhealthy friendships, kindness, respect, boundaries, choosing friends, and being a good friend. We built scenarios/role plays, student reflection, timing, and a one-page facilitator structure.
Finding Your Voice: Knowing When to Ask for Help — The grades 6–8 version of the self-advocacy program. More mature focus on recognizing when you need support, identifying trusted people, communicating assertively, and practicing how to initiate difficult conversations.
Coping Tools + Emotional Regulation — Grades 6–8 programming focused on recognizing emotional states and developing practical strategies students can use when overwhelmed rather than simply telling them to “calm down.”
Dream Building + Goal Setting — We developed this as a K–12 adaptable program around dreaming bigger, identifying limiting beliefs, turning a larger dream into actionable goals, and helping students understand the relationship between their choices and future outcomes.
HIGH SCHOOL WORKSHOPS
Listen to Lead — Middle/high school leadership workshop focused on listening as a leadership skill, understanding other perspectives, communication, and the idea that effective leaders don't always need to be the loudest voice in the room.
Who Told You That? — Middle/high school self-efficacy + leadership workshop. Built around identifying self-imposed “glass ceilings,” challenging limiting beliefs, understanding where beliefs about ourselves come from, and recognizing forms of leadership that don't fit the stereotypical outspoken leader.
Understanding You — High-school focused programming around self-awareness, stress/burnout, recognizing individual needs, and understanding how students respond when overwhelmed.
Student-Athlete Leadership Workshop — We developed this for the South Carolina High School League context. Your portion specifically teaches students how athletics has already developed workforce skills like teamwork, discipline, resilience and leadership, then teaches them how to translate those experiences into résumé language and future professional strengths.
Teen Leadership Summit: Overcoming Obstacles + Building a Better Future — Workshop/presentation built around overcoming obstacles, developing leadership, goal-setting, resilience, and connecting current decisions to academic and personal success.
Dream Building + Goal Setting — We developed this as a K–12 adaptable program around dreaming bigger, identifying limiting beliefs, turning a larger dream into actionable goals, and helping students understand the relationship between their choices and future outcomes.
FOR EDUCATORS
We're not asking students to become louder. We're helping them become more capable.
Elev8Gen complements the work educators are already doing by helping students build language and practical skills around identity, agency, communication, and self-advocacy.
Programming can support:
- Student leadership
- SEL programming
- Advisory
- Character development
- College and career readiness
- School culture
- Transition programming
- Student success initiatives
- Mentoring programs
- Youth Development
And this distinction matters:
The goal isn't to tell every child they're amazing at everything.
It's to help a young person say:
I know some things about myself.
I know what I'm good at.
I know what I need to work on.
I know how to ask for help.
I know my actions matter.
And when I don't know what to do next, I know how to start figuring it out.
IMPACT
7,500+ young people. 50 states. One idea.
Young people deserve access to the tools that help them become who they're capable of becoming.
